CHRISTMAS BY SEAN
Dziś jak to na wydanie przedświąteczne przystało – będzie trochę inaczej. Najpierw mały Sean opowie nam o świętach w swoim domu a Państwa zadaniem będzie wyłowić w tekście angielskie wyrazy potrzebne do krzyżówki.

I love Christmas. It really starts in October when I help my mum bake Christmas cake and Christmas pudding. In school we do Kris Kindle – we buy presents for somebody we got in a secret drawing. On the last day we have a big Christmas concert with a nativity play and Christmas songs. I love decorating our Christmas tree with balls and lights and making cards for my mom and dad. We also have a crib with Mary and Joseph, shepherds and animals. We only put baby Jesus in the crib on Christmas Day. A few days before Christmas we go to town to watch Christmas decorations and listen to carol singers who collect money for a charity. We also visit Santa and give him a letter with things we want to get. On Christmas Eve we hang our stockings up on the mantle piece and leave a little snack for Santa: a few biscuits, a glass of milk or Guinness and a carrot for Rudolph – his reindeer. On Christmas Day we get up really early to see what Santa has brought us. After breakfast we go to visit our grandparents. Later on, we have a big dinner: for starter there is usually salmon, for the main course – turkey and ham with bread stuffing, gravy, roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts and for the desserts we have Christmas pudding, Christmas cake and mince pies. In the evening, we usually play board games or watch some Christmas movies.
