Niekoniecznie gumiaki

Gumiaki z Lidla mają trzy zalety: są to gumiaki, są w dobrej cenie, a przy kasie czeka na nas znajoma słowiańska twarz. Na niektóre okazje gumiaki się niestety nie nadają więc dziś wybierzemy się na zakupy do centrum do sklepu, w którym sprzedawca wcale nie mówi po polsku (to niewiarygodne, ale są takie miejsca). Historia w wielkim skrócie wygląda tak: (1) Basia wchodzi do sklepu, sprzedawca oferuje swoją pomoc, Basia grzecznie odmawia. (2) Basia przymierza buty upatrzone wcześniej na wystawie (3) Basia nieco wybrzydza podczas gdy sprzedawca zachwala towar i ostatecznie obniża cenę, za którą Basia kupuje buty. Pod koniec dialogu omawiane są formy płatności i ewentualne reklamacje. Typowe sklepowe słówka i zwroty zostały zaznaczone wytłuszczonym drukiem.

Shop assistant: How can I help you?

Basia: Thanks, I am fine...

Shop assistant: Alright, let me know if you need anything.

Basia: Excuse me, I like those red runners in the window. I can't find them anywhere inside. Are they for sale?

Shop assistant: They are but I am afraid that's the last pair. What size are you?

Basia: 39

Shop assistant: Let me see.. This is size 39. Would you like to try them on?

Basia: Yes, please.

Shop assistant: OK, here you go.

Shop assistant: And, do they fit well?

Basia: Oh, they fit perfectly well, but they are slightly different shades of red. Is that because the left one was in the window for a long time?

Shop assistant: Well, I can't see much difference but this one might have lost a bit of colour while sitting in the sun. If this annoys you, we could give you a discount...

Basia: How much are they? Are they on sale?

Shop assistant: Yes, they are. They were 85 Euro, we had them reduced to 65 but I can give you a discount of another10%. So it would be 58.50 altogether. That's a real bergain. They are made of leather, very good quality.

Basia: Sounds good to me. I'll take them.

Shop assistant: That's great.

Basia: In case I change my mind, can I return them?

Shop assistant: Of course you can. Provided you have your receipt, you can bring them back within 30 days, and we will offer you an exchange or a refund.

Basia: Fair enough. Do you take credit cards?

Shop assistant: Yes we do.

Basia: That's great. I have some gift vouchers here as well. So I'll pay 30 euro in vouchers and the rest with my credit card.

Shop assistant: No problem.
